Many writers, especially those who have spent consistent time e-mailing Literary agents and Publishers might be wondering if it would be worth it to actually just make an e-book and sell it themselves. There are many routes an author can take then, because in the World Wide Web there are many programs that you can use to make a e-book or to have your book viewed by readers and editors alike. Websites like Authornomy, Inkpop and others like it give authors the opportunity to post portions or whole books online for people to read.
While there are others like the most recent, Book Country that gives you a fee to both post it online and turn it into a E-book as well. What writers need to ask themselves before actually going ahead and doing this is do you want to invest your money on making a E-book? And maybe most important of all, do you have the ability to sell them? Making a E-book is all very well and good, but if you don’t have the ability to sell, its both a waste of effort and money.
